Store distribution does not define mobile architecture
An app store describes a distribution channel, not the architecture of the application it delivers.
Flutter documentation says its cross-platform applications are packaged like other native applications.
Apple distribution includes the App Store and region-dependent alternatives, so store delivery is not universal.
The useful distinction is between how teams implement behavior and how users obtain a release. Shared source code does not identify the package, storefront, or runtime by itself.
Since Shared mobile code still needs platform boundaries, distribution planning cannot erase integration work. Knowing Mobile permissions are revocable feature dependencies separates installation from ongoing feature access.
I would evaluate code reuse and delivery obligations independently before choosing a mobile stack. This avoids labeling every store application as platform-specific or assuming cross-platform development bypasses platform constraints.
Select architecture for product behavior, then verify the distribution route for each intended market.
